Legal Research Grants and Scholarships
The New Zealand Law Foundation is an independent charitable trust that provides grants for legal research, public education on legal matters, and legal training. It is the only funder of "pure" legal research in New Zealand. The Foundation's grants programme has a national focus. In addition to its grants progamme, the Foundation also awards various scholarships annually, most notably the International Research Fellowship, New Zealand's premier legal research award, and the NZ Law Foundation Doctoral Scholarship (in Law).
